Paulina is an Associate experienced in complex civil litigation, inquests and public authority claims. She acts for a broad range of clients generally, including healthcare providers, public bodies, prisons, police forces and government departments.She regularly advises and supports clients with inquests, including involving deaths in custody, mental health services, and other sensitive cases engaging Article 2 ECHR. She advises clients throughout the inquest process, from pre-inquest preparation and disclosure through to advocacy support at hearings, helping organisations navigate factual, legal and reputational issues.
Paulina has experience defending high-value and complex civil claims arising from prison, healthcare and public authority settings. Her caseload includes allegations of failures in medical treatment, suicide and self-harm prevention, unlawful detention, breaches of the Human Rights Act, false imprisonment, negligence, personal injury, data protection and other operational matters affecting public sector organisations.
