Experience
Emma is an Associate in our Healthcare team with a special interest in defending healthcare professionals in fitness to practise investigations conducted by their regulatory bodies. She has represented healthcare professionals in investigations conducted the GMC, GDC, NMC and GOC.
Emma has a diverse range of experience in healthcare, regulatory and criminal law. Her experience includes healthcare regulatory law, inquests, clinical negligence, public inquiry, health and safety and criminal law. She has significant advocacy experience from her early career as a Crown Prosecutor.
Emma is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. She holds Bachelors degrees in both Law and Science (majoring in neuroscience).
