He also has experience of retail banking and the design and creation of banking products for the corporate market. Recent highlights include (i) advising Ambassador Group on the £6,000,000 refinance of a Glasgow office park; (ii) advising Rothschild Wealth Management on the Scots law aspects of their transition from LIBOR to SONIA (iii) advising Quotient Bioscience on Scottish aspects of multiple listed bond issues on the New York Stock Exchange; (iv) advising Natwest on various amendments of funds facilities; and (v) advising Aliter Capital on the financing arrangements for a significant leveraged acquisition. Alan has been the UK lead on arrangements between DWF Mindcrest and the firm's various banking clients and has overseen two large scale projects with a major UK bank.

Alan also has experience of establishing and running ALSP projects for major UK banks.
