DWF appoints new global head of corporate claims in its Claims Management and Adjusting business

14 January 2025

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has announced Simon Pemberton as the new global head of corporate claims in its Claims Management and Adjusting (CMA) business.

Simon brings with him more than 30 years of experience within the insurance claims management sector and includes roles at Sun Alliance International, Zurich Municipal, and Gallagher Bassett, where he held various senior leadership positions. Most recently, Simon served as the UK chief executive officer at Gallagher Bassett, where he led the UK executive team and was a key member of the international executive and global strategy team.

In 2022, Simon was recognised in Insurance Business' Global 100 List for his contributions to the industry.

Simon’s appointment marks the latest in a series of high-profile additions to DWF’s CMA practice, following the acquisition of Proclaim in September 2024, as well as the appointments of Antonio Herrera Sancho as Head of CMA in Spain, Darren Goldman as Head of CMA in North America, and Luca Schilardi as Head of CMA in Europe.

Commenting on his appointment, Simon Pemberton, said: "I am delighted to join DWF and to lead the global corporate claims team. Over the past 30 years, my experience in the UK corporate sector has given me a strong understanding of the market. I look forward to working with the talented professionals at DWF to further enhance our claims management services and deliver the best possible support to our clients."

Paul Cowen, Global Head of Claims Management and Adjusting, added: "We are thrilled to welcome Simon to our team. His extensive experience and proven track record within the sector will be invaluable and will play a crucial role in driving our strategic objectives and delivering exceptional value to our clients as we continue to grow our CMA practice globally."
