DWF has advised Homebase on the recent deal with Sainsbury's which involves the acquisition of 10 leasehold properties in key locations across England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. The deal will enable Sainsbury’s to further its expansion across the UK, with the first of the new supermarkets expected to open next summer.
Rachel Lawler, Partner and Head of DWF’s Real Estate Occupier team led the multi-disciplinary and cross-jurisdictional team of lawyers from DWF’s Real Estate, Tax and Employment team that worked on this project, which completed in September.
