With over 15 years' experience at law firms in the Middle East, Asia and Australia, Ben brings extensive experience in international M&A, joint ventures, private equity and advising technology companies across the full company life cycle. At DWF, he will advise across a broad range of sectors, with a particular focus on technology, energy and financial services. His clients are typically US and multinational corporates, digital companies and financial investors undertaking business throughout SE Asia and the Middle East.
Ben has acted on a range of prominent M&A deals in the MENA and SE Asian region in recent years. Notably, he advised a Saudi sovereign wealth fund on its investment into a private UAE-based water desalination plant operator, as well as advising a global retail brand on a significant private placement and proposed NASDAQ Dubai listing. Ben was recently appointed to an advisory panel of NASDAQ Dubai to advise on updates to its listing rules, and he has also previously acted as a legal mentor to accelerator programs, 'Turn8' and 'InspireU' in Dubai.

Following the launch of DWF Singapore in July 2017 with a four-lawyer team from Eversheds, the practice has now more than doubled in size. The Singapore team have a wide range of experience in international commercial arbitration, construction and infrastructure arbitration, investor-State arbitration, and State-to-State disputes. The team also frequently assist businesses and governments in the structuring of transactions, contract negotiation and review, and dispute resolution.
