Rubina joins the business from Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP where she was a Partner since 2017. Having qualified as a corporate lawyer in the private equity/funds team at Clifford Chance LLP, she successfully requalified as an IT/IP and commercial lawyer, initially practising at Bird & Bird LLP.
Rubina has considerable experience in advising tech start-ups and large corporates on a wide range of technology and intellectual property related projects, effectively acting as general counsel to clients seeking to implement digital transformation projects. Her areas of expertise include ICT/BPO outsourcings and technology procurements, enterprise, SaaS and cloud model based solutions, licensing, system implementation, and managed service arrangements.
Rubina will be based out of DWF's London office primarily helping clients in the technology, retail, finance, consumer goods and professional services sectors.
