Experience

Paul has experience of handing various catastrophic claims on behalf of motor insurers involving injuries such as traumatic brain injury, tetraplegia/spinal injury, chronic pain disorder, FND, fatalities and many more. Having acted for the Motor Insurer's Bureau for many years, Paul has developed a detailed knowledge of motor insurance coverage, indemnity and Road Traffic Act centred disputes, and has overseen several cases where the insurer has escaped liability altogether following a referral to the MIB/Technical Committee. Paul has had a number of cases where PPO's have been agreed and had an involvement in the indexation litigation when ASHE came to be the accepted method of indexing PPO damages.
