Experience
Matteo has significant experience in both contentious and non-contentious insurance matters. He regularly advises Lloyd’s market syndicates, leading domestic and international insurance and reinsurance companies, as well as insurance intermediaries, on regulatory issues, insurance coverage and policy wording, the drafting of specialist legal opinions, and relationships with supervisory authorities, including IVASS. He also advises foreign insurance companies seeking to establish or expand their operations in the Italian market.
He has developed extensive expertise in handling complex disputes before the Italian Courts, Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court, as well as in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
His practice also encompasses corporate and commercial advisory work, combining technical expertise with a pragmatic and business-oriented approach tailored to clients’ needs.
