The appointment secures DWF's position on the successor framework to RM6240, enabling the firm to continue supporting a broad range of public sector organisations – including central government departments, local authorities, NHS bodies, education providers, emergency services, infrastructure organisations and third sector bodies – with access to the firm's full-service legal and business expertise.
As one of a select group of firms appointed across all awarded lots, DWF will be able to advise on everything from day-to-day legal matters and specialist advice through to complex infrastructure projects, major disputes and transport schemes. The firm's appointments cover:
- Lot 1a – Full Legal Service Provision for all Public Sector
- Lot 1b – Full Legal Service Provision for Local Government and Local Communities
- Lot 1c – Full Legal Service Provision for Health and Social Care
- Lot 2 – Focused Legal Support
- Lot 3 – Litigation and Disputes
- Lot 4 – Projects and Complex Advice (including PPP)
- Lot 5 – Transport and Rail
- Lot 6 – Costs Lawyer Services
The appointment follows DWF's re-appointment to the Central Government Legal Services framework (RM6360) earlier this year, further strengthening the firm's role in supporting public sector clients across the UK.
