Experience

Martin has extensive cross-border finance experience having worked in London, Rome and Milan.  His practice areas include debt capital markets (listed bonds, EMTN programmes), asset finance and leasing, project finance, corporate lending, real estate financings (including sharia compliant structures) acquisition financing and alternative investments including SPACs.

  • Link Lease Finance PLC: advised the issuer on its US$500,000,000 Medium Term Note bond program, listed on the Frankfurt and Cayman stock exchanges with a rating of A(sf) (ind) from ARC Ratings, ultimately used to fund UAE corporation Link Lease LLC's expansion of its asset leasing business across the Middle East.
  • Neutral Capital Finance PLC: advised the issuer on its US$50,000,000 Medium Term Note bond program, listed on the Frankfurt and GEM (Ireland) stock exchanges with a rating of A-(sf) (ind) from ARC Ratings, ultimately used to fund UAE corporation Neutral Fuels' expansion of biodiesel production plants.
  • BodySmart Finance Limited: advised the issuer on its US$100,000,000 Medium Term Note bond program, listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange, ultimately used to fund BodySmart UAE's expansion of aesthetic surgeries and wellness centres across the UAE.
  • ZP Secured Direct Lending PLC: advised the issuer on its GB£200,000,000 Medium Term Note bond program, listed on the Frankfurt and GEM (Ireland) stock exchanges with a rating of A-(sf) (ind) from ARC Ratings.
  • Eco Energy World PLC: advised the issuer on its €200,000,000 Medium Term Note bond program, listed on the Frankfurt and GEM (Ireland) stock exchanges with a rating of A-(sf) (ind) from ARC Ratings.
  • DCM US Multi-Family Homes Plc: advised the issuer on its US$750,000,000 Medium Term Note bond program, to be listed on the Irish stock exchange (GEM), to be used as mezzanine financing by DCM Real Estate Inc. for the development and refurbishment of multi-family accommodation real estate assets in the US.
