UK sets up Trade and Agriculture Commission: Defra and the Department for International Trade have set up a new ‘Trade and Agriculture Commission' as a consultative body on the content of trade deals affecting the food and agriculture sectors. Membership includes representatives from farmers, retailers, food service and consumers. The Commission will be chaired by food safety expert Tim Smith, a former Chief Executive of the Food Standards Agency and Tesco Group Technical Director. View > View >
