UK reiterates what it wants to see in a future partnership relationship with the EU: David Frost (UK Chief Negotiator for a future relationship with the EU) has written to the EU Commission, sending legal texts setting out the UK position on key issues and reiterating the UK position that it is not seeking to remain in the single market or customs union and wished to agree a free trade agreement as a sovereign equal. : In a move welcomed by the Food and Drink Federation and British Chambers of Commerce the Department for International Trade has published the tariff’s that the UK will apply to imports from January 2021.
