As the novelty of this new world of working from home looks to be turning into more of a norm, I am pleased to announce DWF's Virtual Cat PI and Occupational Health Insurance Conference. This will be our biggest and most ambitious conference to date, and we are going to be delivering it virtually via Microsoft Teams Live across four days, 18-21 May 2020.
With more than 40 hours of content from our Cat PI and Occupational Health specialists – UK and international - you can expect to hear about current issues and trends in the traditional and emerging claims areas. These will include:
- The impact of COVID-19 on Cat claims
- BIRG - The Looming Crisis for PPO's
- The impact of the Morrison's Supreme Court case on vicarious liability
- Developments on claims involving chronic pain & PTSD, and much more!
On the innovation, data and technology side, our Connected Services colleagues will be sharing insights into areas including leveraging data analytics to reduce claims spend in Cat and Casualty claims, and how to think creatively and innovate in times of crisis.
With talks on the hour, every hour, beginning on Monday 18 May at 2.00pm and running through to lunchtime on Thursday 21 May, our conference welcome will be delivered by Andrew Leaitherland, Group CEO, and then it's straight into the presentations.
You will be able to sign up to specific sessions and more details about these will follow in my future blogs, but you can register your interest now >
Don’t worry if you can’t attend one of the sessions: they’ll all be recorded and available to watch at your convenience. For those who can attend live, we’ll be running Q&A sessions and, for a bit of fun, playing video conference bingo with prizes on offer.
You will, however, have to bring your own snacks!
Stay safe, be well and we’ll see you all soon.
