Facebook posts by Gin Society ruled to be ‘Commercial Communications’: The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that a series of Facebook posts by the Scottish Gin Society highlighting the properties of gin including one comparing gin to the energy content of a banana are ‘commercial communications’ and thus fall within the ambit of the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation and the advertising code restrictions on the promotion of alcohol. View >

Results of survey of antimicrobial resistance in pork mince and chicken published: The Food Standards Agency has published the detailed results of sampling fresh pork mince and fresh and frozen chicken at retail level for antimicrobial resistance. View >
