DEXEU publish ‘Technical notes’ in preparation for a ‘no deal’ Brexit scenario: Whilst positioning the possibility as unlikely the Department for exiting the EU has published 25 ‘Technical notes’ on steps that primarily businesses should take to prepare in advance of a ‘no deal’ Brexit. There are cross cutting notes on ‘Trading with the EU, VAT, Classifying goods in the UK tariff, Trade remedies and Workers rights’. There are also technical notes on specific product areas including for the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors and in respect of Organic foods.
