Spring statement includes exploration of tax measures to reduce single trip plastic waste:The Chancellor of the Exchequers Spring financial statement included references to launch of a call for evidence by HM Treasury on use of tax measures to reduce plastic waste – Closes 18th May. Other measures included £189m to Government departments to prepare for Brexit, commitments to ensuring prompt payment, taxation plans for digital businesses and to consult on air quality plans.
