Building and Maintaining Resilience Tuesday 7 June 2022 – 12:00 – 13:30 GMT

In a world where we are all under pressure to achieve more with less, resilience is crucial.

This session takes resilience further and looks at our ability to deal with stress, keep going in the face of challenge, manage our own emotions and interact effectively with others. We will focus on developing techniques to manage approaches to stress, pressure and the challenges faced on a daily basis. 

By the end of this session you will;

  1. Understand stress and your responses to it better
  2. Equip yourself with a selection of tools and techniques to develop your mental strength and manage stress more effectively
  3. Create a plan to develop and maintain your resilience

Problem Solving and Creative Thinking Wednesday 21 September 2022 – 12:00 – 13:30 GMT

When we go through new and different circumstances, our traditional ways of working are challenged, and we must find new ways to progress forwards. The overall aim is to solve the problems we face and use creative thinking to work more efficiently and effectively by resolving those problems. Being able to solve problems effectively enhances your credibility and enhances your value and perception. It also improves other skills which are required as part of successful problem solving, such as creative thinking.

This session will look at effective approaches to problem solving and decision making that have proven to be successful in producing improvements in efficiency, performance, and productivity.

By the end of this session you will;

  1. Have a better of understanding of structured approaches to problem solving
  2. Be able to define the difference between creative and lateral thinking
  3. Learn different techniques for problem solving and creative thinking

Maintaining Focus and Motivation Thursday 8 December 2022 – 12:00 – 13:30 GMT

So, you are used to working in an open office with many distractions and you can focus no problem, now you are at home where surely there are less distractions so it should be easier and your productivity will go up, right?

Not necessarily, unless you take steps to ensure that you have the right set up, daily structure and goals it can be very easy for motivation and focus to drop. We are constantly going through different challenges and changes. We need to be able to shift and pivot so we can adapt to these challenges.

This session will take you through tools and techniques in which you can do this effectively and work for your own rhythm and routine of your day.

By the end of this course you will;

  1. Design your optimal workday
  2. Set daily goals using technology to keep you on track
  3. Self-motivate and set clear boundaries and keep good habits
