DWF cements top-tier status in Queensland insurance law

23 October 2019
For the fifth consecutive year DWF Australia has received multiple commendations in the prestigious Doyle’s Guide.

The 2019 edition of the guide ranks DWF Australia and three of its leading lawyers among the first tier of Queensland Workers' Compensation practitioners representing insurers and self-insured entities.

The Doyle's Guide is an independent rating agency which publishes annual law-firm rankings based on client feedback and its own proprietary research.

This year DWF Australia also secured second tier placing in the Dust Diseases ranking, third tier in the Medical Negligence ranking, third tier in the Public and Product Liability ranking, and a recommended ranking in the field of Compulsory Third Party Insurance.

In addition to the practice listings, four senior members of the team also received specific citations:

  • Damien van Brunschot, Head of Insurance at DWF in Australia, was named in four of the eight individual accolades bestowed by Doyle’s Guide. Damien was recognised as a preeminent lawyer in the Workers' Compensation and Dust Diseases arenas, and was recommended in the Compulsory Third Party Insurance and Public and Product Liability fields.
  • Jamie McPherson, Managing Director of DWF in Australia, was recognised as a leading lawyer in the Workers' Compensation area, and as a recommended lawyer in the Public and Product Liability area.
  • Robert Parcell was deemed a recommended lawyer in the area of Workers' Compensation.
