16 October 2020
Small banner PPA report
DWF and Solarplaza assess whether different approaches to structure, standardisation and risk associated with offtake arrangements can enhance the future of solar investments. Read the report to find out more.

At the February 2020 conference 'Making Solar Bankable' in Amsterdam, DWF and conference organiser Solarplaza conducted a piece of research on the impact of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) on the solar PV sector and their potential for driving development in emerging markets. The research which incorporates the views of over 100 sector experts through roundtable discussions and a survey, is summarised in this new report.

The report assesses how different approaches to structure, standardisation and risk can influence the outcome of solar investments and considers the key factors for development in emerging markets. In addition, the report includes an international comparison between six European countries: UK, Poland, Spain, Italy, France and Ireland to identify the economic and regulatory environments that are favourable for PPAs.
